Relaxed Sophistication
Buttery worn leather, white woven fabrics, rustic wood furniture, and organic art in soft color palettes were the grounding pieces of this design. It comes together for a really comfortable relaxed space that still feels sophisticated.
Rustic Wood Bench
We used two identical benches as a coffee table to achieve the look and scale we needed for the space.
Wood Book Display
I love an opportunity to showcase a wonderful book and this provides that with a little modern style.
Leather Magazine Caddy
I wanted to bring in more leather to as a nod to the oversized chair and this little caddy with a lovely brass detail was the the perfect way to do that.
Overstuffed Leather Chair
Ours is the RH Fulham in whiskey leather but that product has been discontinued. This is a similar look and is a little more affordable.
Creamy woven armchair
.these armchairs allow for a more formal, upright position which is great for conversation and socializing.
Light gray throw pillow
These light gray down filled throw pillows provide just a little contrast against the creamy white chairs.
Large framed canvas
This soft abstract landscape is incredibly versatile and lends a serene vibe to this grand contrasting space.
Earthenware Vase
Textured pottery is a must in any space where you want to create a relaxed collected look.
Burgandy Floral Stems
I’m a huge proponent of bringing greenery into every space but some designs just beg for the rich comfort of a burgundy floral.
Deep White Sofa
Nothing screams Have a Seat! like a large comfy white sofa. It’s one of those things that’s just a really inviting addition to any room.
Textured Floor Vase
Our large distressed vase was an exciting vintage find so here I’ve got an alternative option that provides a similar feeling.
Eucalyptus Stems
Filling our floor vase with fluffy greenery was an important element in bringing in a bit of color and connecting the gorgeous outdoor space just beyond the large wall of windows.
Distressed Area Rug
This soft classic design is the anchoring piece of the room without being too bold.
Chunky Knit Throw
Every living space needs a cozy throw to curl up with and this one feels homey without interrupting the clean modern elements of the home itself.
Blush Chenille Throw
This blush chenille throw peeking out of a large basket brings a little color, warmth, and softness without cluttering up the sofa.
Gold Abstract Sculpture
Just a pretty detail to bring the gold from the cabinet hardware and dining fixture into the living space.
Small Storage Basket
I love adding a way to store and therefore hide remotes in living areas. Stacked on top of books it becomes an interesting textural addition to the space but its functional as well.
Rustic Wood Accent Table
Our tables were locally sourced and refinished by my team so I wanted to find an accessible alternative you can just click and purchase. These are really beautiful and definitely hit the mark for me.
Wood Tapered Candlestick
No room feels complete to me without some sort of candle. These candle sticks provide height for the table opposite the lamp to balance them out.
Round Woven Hamper
A laundry hamper may seem out of place in a living room but I’m always looking for clever uses of ordinary items to create the look I’ve envisioned. This is the perfect size to toss is several extra throws so you can keep the room tidy but when needed you can cozy up to the fire without a trip to the linen closet.
Textured Pottery Lamp
Our table lamp was another lovely vintage find so I’ve linked a retail option that I think lends itself well to the design and can be paired with a tapered lampshade to complete the look.
